The Distance Education Centre provides a full range of Primary & Secondary courses to students whose circumstances prevent them form accessing an education at a mainstream school.
In order to be elegible to enrol with the Centre, students must meet the elegibility criteria.
There are various elegibility criteria.
Students who meet the travel or distance criteria or who are older than 18 years of age on 1 January of the year they wish to enrol do not need approval of the Region.
All other applicants must have the approval of the Regional Director prior to enrolment with the Centre.
Approval can only be forwarded by the Regional Director when parents or schools are able to demonstrate that a student meets the necessary enrolment criteria.
