All suspensions and expulsions of students must be conducted within the guidelines and legislative requirements of the Student Discipline Procedures 1994.

Support and advice is provided to schools and parents regarding the implementation of these procedures. Suspensions are the responsibility of the School Principal.

All expulsions must be notified to the Regional Director who has the responsibility to place the student in another appropriate educational setting.
