The Language Support Program (LSP) is a pedagogical approach designed to enhance and extend current practices through the provision of explicit and systematic language support in the classroom. It creates a link between the regular classroom programs and the intensive speech and language programs implemented by speech pathologists for students with severe language disorders.
The Language Support Program - Teaching and Learning for Students with a Language DIsorder aims to build the capacity of schools and teachers to provide appropriate programs and learning experiences which will improve the oral language skills of students with a language disorder in order to optimise the students' potential.
The EMR Language Consultancy Team provides professional development to assist schools in implementing in their Language Support Program.
