Student Placement
Advice is provided to principals and staff responsible for the enrolment and/or transition of students, concerning all aspects of student placement, designated neighbourhood areas, transfer entitlements and DoE enrolment policy and guidelines. The placement of students following expulsion is also the responsibility of the Region.
Transitions: Years 6 - 7
The process, procedures and timelines for the transition of students from the primary to the secondary sector are jointly managed by the Eastern Metropolitan Region schools and the Regional Office. Support and advice is provided to schools and parents in relation to all issues associated with the Year 6-7 transition process.
